Candidate profile
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our energetic, in-house design team and foster a fun, collaborative and high-output culture. You will be helping to define product strategy and be hands-on, delivering wireframes/prototypes for our ML-based web application, while mentoring more junior designers.
Responsibilities
You and the team will:
- Create user-centred designs by understanding business requirements and user feedback
- Understand user’s needs and jobs to be done
- Create journey maps, user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and interactive prototypes
- Conduct ongoing user research
- Run workshops for stakeholders
- Collaborate closely and effectively with product and engineering teams
- Maintain the design and code-based pattern libraries
- Prepare designs for development
- Review the design implementation process.
Requirements
- 4+ years of previous digital design experience in an agile environment with a portfolio that showcases your process
- Experience mentoring or managing other UX/Product Designers
- An expert in user-centric design and best practices
- Deep experience with prototyping, using tools such as Figma/Sketch/Framer
- Be familiar with using, creating, updating and maintaining Design Systems
- Understand and use atomic design principles
- Know how to get the best results from analysing both qualitative and quantitative user data
- Strong attention to interaction design & detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
- Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with other disciplines
- Excellent communication skills.
