Content Marketing Manager

About the role

We’re very excited to be hiring our first content marketer! Working alongside the Head of Marketing, you will deliver a range of content, from bitesize sales snippets to research-backed whitepapers. You’ll be responsible for creating memorable content experiences that drive brand awareness, recognition, and sales conversations.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be ambitious, strategic, and commercially focused with a proven track record in leveraging content across the B2B funnel to drive conversion.

  • Awareness and Demand Gen – Manage existing and develop new content initiatives to drive awareness, engagement, and interest amongst our key personas.
  • Pipeline nurture and acceleration – Develop content that helps build trust and buy in from those already in the pipeline, aiming to shorten sales cycles and improve conversion.
  • Thought Leadership – Create industry guides, whitepapers, and reports backed by data and research to strengthen Xelix’s authority in the P2P space.
  • ABM – Create 1:1, 1:few and 1:many hyper-personalised content across a range of channels (email, Linkedin, landing pages, direct mail, ads, events etc) to help maximise ABM success.
  • Events – Support our events with relevant, persona-focused pieces. This includes conferences, webinars, roundtables, and community days with our Customers and Partners.
  • Enablement – Enable Sales, Customer Success, and Partnerships teams with powerful presentations, social proof, and product material.
  • Customer advocacy – Work alongside our customers to spotlight their successes through written, video, and live content.
  • Campaigns – Repurpose and recycle content to support the efficiency of marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Has 5 years’+ experience in Content Marketing.
  • Considers themselves a ‘content enthusiast’ with a background in B2B SaaS.Proficient Hubspot user (MAP, CRM, CMS).
  • Can master both style and substance in their writing.
  • Is a grammar-obsessed copywriting professional.
  • Is a positive team-player who brings bright ideas to the table.
  • Can get up-to-speed with Xelix and deliver value quickly.
  • Can interpret and translate technical information into user-friendly content.
  • Looks at content through a commercial lens – able to predict return and prioritise resource based on this (short and long term).
  • Is a cross-channel whizz who can manage multiple projects at a time without compromising quality and attention to detail.
  • Has good knowledge of SEO, as well as experience producing diverse content across a range of formats.
  • Knows how to manage internal/external stakeholders to deliver top-class content in a timely manner.
  • Gets excited about owning Xelix’s content marketing strategy and taking our marketing to the next level.
